Youth Libraries Group Honour

I have been honoured on many occasions to have my stories nominated for The Carnegie Medal.

In 2023  When Shadows Fall was shortlisted for the Yoto Carnegie Medal for writing.

Following the ceremony I was delighted to receive this Honourary Membership to the Youth Libraries Group. I have so many librarians in my mind as I write this - who every day, change children's lives with their passion to place books in children's hands to open up a life long love of reading, something that literally changes lives.
